ERGTC Launches the Autumn Biogas Masterclass Series 2026

The European Renewable Gas Training Centre (ERGTC), the training centre of the European Biogas Association (EBA), has opened registrations for the Autumn Biogas Masterclass Series 2026. The programme brings together four specialised in-person trainings designed to support biogas and biomethane professionals through practical knowledge, technological innovation, market insights and financial expertise.

The series covers the full biogas value chain, providing practical knowledge on plant optimisation, emerging technologies, market developments and financial performance. Participants may register for individual Masterclasses or attend the complete series.

Two-Day Operator Course + Plant Visit
Optimising the Biogas and Biomethane Production Process

This practical two-day course combines expert-led training with a guided plant visit, providing participants with practical knowledge on improving process stability, increasing methane yields and optimising plant performance from feedstock handling to biomethane upgrading.

Held during EnergyDecentral, this Masterclass focuses on advanced process optimisation techniques for anaerobic digestion while providing participants with an up-to-date overview of EU policy developments and renewable gas market trends.

Optimising Financial Performance and Developing Biogas Purchase Agreements

Participants will learn how to improve the financial performance of biogas plants through financial analysis, revenue optimisation and the development of Biogas Purchase Agreements (BPAs), supporting bankability, risk mitigation and long-term investment decisions.

Discounts for EBA Members

EBA members are eligible for a 20% discount on registration fees. An additional 10% discount is available for the second and each additional participant from the same company attending the same Masterclass.
