Representatives of the Serbian Biogas Association, Goran Knežević and Lidija Zelić, participated in the workshop “Climate Smart Agribusiness Sector in Serbia.” The workshop was organized by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with the aim of supporting a climate-smart agribusiness sector in Serbia.

The discussion that developed was significant from multiple aspects, particularly as participants aimed to identify investment opportunities for decarbonization and climate resilience in agrifood value chains. The impact of biogas on this topic is substantial, and the information we shared from our sector was extremely valuable to the attendees.
