Participation of representatives of the Biogas Serbia Association as trainers in Vrnjačka Banja

A three-day training titled “Climate Change, Renewable Energy Sources, Challenges, and Solutions in Agriculture,” in which representatives of the Biogas Serbia Association participated, was organized by the Agro Net association with the support of USAID and GIZ. The three-day, full-day lectures were extremely intensive, mostly conducted by professors from the Faculty of Agriculture in Zemun. The Biogas Serbia Association had a very notable presentation when the Board Member, Goran Knežević, gave a lecture on biogas. On the last day of the training, representatives of the association (Mr. Goran Knežević and Ms. Lidija Carević) participated in a panel discussion and presented all the problems that the biogas sector in Serbia is facing. The panel adopted recommendations that will be forwarded to decision-makers (relevant ministries and chambers of commerce in the participants’ countries).

The training also included representatives from the Western Balkans region.
