Participation of the Biogas Serbia Association at the Kopaonik Business Forum 2023

This year, the Biogas Serbia Association participated in the Kopaonik Business Forum, held from March 5th to March 8th, 2023, at the “Grand” hotel on Kopaonik. This forum brought together more than 1000 participants, including heads of states, prime ministers, ministers, high representatives of regulatory bodies, representatives of international financial institutions, distinguished scientists, diplomats, business practitioners, and media representatives. Thirty-four panels were held, providing ample time for association representatives to connect and work on strengthening the sector and the association, and consequently, our members.

A significant number of representatives from relevant institutions were also present, along with the majority of companies operating in various sectors in Serbia, Europe, and the world. Thus, participation in such an event is exceptionally important for our work.

We had the opportunity to hear from nearly two hundred speakers from the academic community, politics, finance, and business. Leading thematic studies from international financial institutions were presented at the Forum, along with new academic and political works from leading researchers and scientists in current fields.

From the Biogas Serbia Association, we had two speakers, Mr. Danko Vuković, the President of the association, and Mr. Saša Vitošević, a member of the association’s Board. Mr. Vuković participated in the panel “Economic Agenda for the Open Balkans,” while Mr. Vitošević moderated the panel “Agriculture in a Deglobalized World and Challenges Facing Serbia.”
