The representatives of the Serbian Biogas Association had a great pleasure to visit its partner organization Fachverband Biogas e.V. in Freising.

With almost 4,800 members, Fachverband Biogas e.V. is the biggest association in the biogas sector.

During the visit, Mr Sebastian Stolpp, Head of International Cooperation, made a presentation about the current state of the biogas sector in Germany and the activities of the German Biogas Association. As the Serbian biogas sector is only at the initial stage of development and we are yet to go on a path that our German partners travelled two decades ago, we found this presentation very useful because of the experience we can greatly benefit from in developing the sector and because of the expertise our partners are willing to share with us.

Our partners were wonderful hosts, arranging social events and making sure we had memorable time. We rest assured that our cooperation will be even stronger and more stable in the future, and that we will continue to have successful projects in a joint effort to strengthen the Serbian biogas sector.
