The representatives of the Serbian Biogas Association visited the Biogas Convention in Nuremberg.

With over 5000 visitors, Biogas Convention in Nuremberg, organized by the German Biogas Association (Fachverband Biogas e.V.), is the most important biogas event in the world. The Convention included a number of workshops and panel discussions with most relevant German and international representatives of the biogas industry. We also visited the Biogas Trade Fair, the biggest global biogas trade fair with more than 6200 visitors and 350 exhibitors.

The Convention offered us an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the sector and projects successfully implemented throughout the world. Dragan Zukic, a member of the SBA Board, made a notable presentation about the activities of the Serbian Biogas Association and the state of the biogas sector in Serbia.

The visit to the Convention helped us to gain insight into the biogas industry and encouraged us to focus on finding ways how to improve the biogas sector in Serbia.
